It’s best to start searching when the rainy season begins. The rains expose roof leaks, wet walls, low-level floors and compound grounds, wet plasters, poor drainage systems, waterlogged roads/egresses, electrical shocks in wet areas. 

These problems, if overlooked, will lead to more expensive repairs or even loss of property value, since nobody wants to occupy a problem property.
